MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421012369 A) filed by Reliance Industries Limited, Maharashtra, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'a process for removal of carbonyl impurities from a hydrocarbon stream.'

Inventor(s) include Gurav, Hanmant Ramchandra; Jinka, Krishna Mohan; Bhoir, Sunil Ramchandra; Shinde, Sanjay Dinkar; Lande, Sharad Vasudeorao; and Jasra, Raksh Vir.

The process of the present disclosure is simple, economical and environment friendly. The process of the present disclosure is efficient in removing higher amounts of carbonyl impurities. The process of the present disclosure can be easily scaled up for commercial purposes."
