MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010146 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated bulb screw cap manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Rohaila Naaz; and Garima Goswami.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bulb screw cap manufacturing device, comprises a housing 1 configured with at least four rods 2 that provides support to the housing 1 on a ground surface, a chamber 3 is assembled within the housing 1 for storing multiple metallic sheets, a touch interactive display panel 4 assembled on the housing 1 to input details regarding number of bulb screw cap that the user desires to manufacture, a first robotic gripper 5 assembled within the housing 1 for withdrawing and placing the sheet into a first mould 6 assembled within the housing 1, an imaging unit 7 mounted within the housing 1 to determine placement of the sheets inside the first mould 6, a first telescopic pusher 8 suspended from ceiling of the housing 1 for extending to push sheets into the mould 6, and an outlet 13 crafted on the housing 1 to collect the manufactured caps."
