MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010142 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated tree guard manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Amit Kumar Bishnoi; and Rohit Kumar Singh Gautam.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tree guard manufacturing device comprises a housing 1 installed with a touch enabled screen 4 to give input commands, at least four omnidirectional wheels 3 to maneuver the housing 1 on a ground surface, a telescopically operated pusher 5 to extend for pushing the sheet on a conveyer 6, a motorized cutter 7 for cutting the sheet, a camera 12 mounted within the housing 1 for detecting cutting of the sheet, a telescopically operated gripper 13 for gripping and positioning the strips between a pair of motorized rollers 10 installed in continuation to the conveyer 6 to mould the strips in circular structures, a robotic arm 15 equipped with a welding unit 16 for welding the free-ends of the structures to form the guard, an electronic sprayer 19 for spraying the paint over the guard, and an air blower 21 for blowing air to dry the paint."
