MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010151 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'compactable float device for water-bodies.'
Inventor(s) include Yash Chandra Gangwar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A compactable float device for water-bodies includes an inflatable platform 1 configured with an air compressing unit for inflating platform 1 to allow platform 1 to float over water body, a display panel 3 accessed by multiple users accommodated on platform 1 for inputting location where users want to reach, accordingly a rack and pinion gear 5 actuates to row platform 1 via two links 4 towards user-specified location, an imaging unit 7 to monitor number of users accommodated on platform 1, a gyroscopic arrangement 8 for monitoring angle of inclination of platform 1 with respect to surface of water body, in case of exceeded monitored inclination angle, a pair of sliding units 9 fabricated on lateral ends of platform 1 to translate multiple weight blocks 10 integrated on sliding units 9 to get arranged as per monitored inclination angle to balance platform 1 over water body."
