MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010134 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'system for holding an electronic gadget.'
Inventor(s) include Rahul Vishnoi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for holding an electronic gadget, comprising a platform 1, a suction cup 3 are configured with platform 1 for adhering platform 1 on surface, a camera 4 detecting the height of user for actuating links 2 for positioning platform 1 in accordance with user's height, a laser acuity sensor detecting dimension of an electronic gadget for evaluating the type of electronic gadget, a clamping unit 5 actuated by microcontroller for gripping the electronic gadgets by means of primary suction cups 7, a primary extendable plate 8 is extended by microcontroller for positioning gadget on primary plate 8 in a stable manner in order to work on gadget in a convenient manner, an electrooculography (EOG) sensor in view of monitoring direction of movement of eye for actuating ball and socket joint for tilting clamping unit 5 for aligning gadget for providing clear view of a screen."
