MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421011096 A) filed by Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited, Maharashtra, on Feb. 16, 2024, for 'systems and methods for thermal management of cabin and battery (ies) in electric vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments herein disclose systems and methods to achieve heating of cabin of an Electric Vehicle (EV), along with one or more batteries present in the EV, wherein an air conditioning compressor is used in combination with a plurality of refrigerant and coolant circuit components to achieve the heating of cabin and battery at lesser energy consumption."
