Abstract: The present 5 invention relates to veterinary pharmaceutical compositions and, more particularly, to oral dispersible granules comprising botanical active material obtained from Ficus hispida for oral administration to animals. The invention further relates to a granule composition, a process for preparing the same, and a packaged veterinary dosage unit configured for rapid oral dispersion, rapid aqueous 10 disintegration, and convenient administration in animals having oral-administration difficulty associated with tongue inflammation or glossitis-like oral conditions. The invention is concerned with a dosage-form architecture in which the botanical material is combined with a superdisintegrant, solubilising or wetting agent, binder system, and glidant or lubricant to provide granules having defined particle size, 15 porosity, pH, and dissolution behavior.
