Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based drone surveillance and evidence management system configured for real-time object detection and automated evidence generation. The system comprises a video acquisition module for receiving a live drone camera feed, an edge-based inference module for detecting objects using an object detection model, a metadata module for obtaining GPS coordinates and timestamp information, and an event-driven evidence generation module. Upon detection of an object, the system captures a snapshot, generates metadata including location, time, and drone identification, and stores the data in a structured database. A circular frame buffer is employed to generate context-aware video clips comprising frames captured before and after the detection event. A watermark overlay engine embeds metadata directly onto video frames. The system further includes a local dashboard for real-time monitoring and operates entirely on an edge device without requiring cloud connectivity, thereby enabling deployment in remote and low-network environments.
