MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621071739 A) filed by Krupa Jaimeen Vora on June 10, 2026, for “a Device For Film Dispensing”.

Inventor includes Krupa Jaimeen Vora.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: An easy-to-use, highly comfortable stretch film dispenser and wrapping system are provided. The dispenser features a single solid body divided into a grip portion and a roll-insertion portion. The grip portion uses a smooth, flexible "squeeze-to-brake" mechanism. When the user squeezes the handle, flexible materials slightly compress to create a smooth braking resistance, completely avoiding sudden locking and film tearing. The insertion portion uses flexible ribs that tightly grip the inside of a standard film core, stopping it from slipping. This smooth dispenser is perfectly matched with an adhesive-free, self-clinging stretch film roll, preferably about 110mm wide. This system drastically reduces hand fatigue, saves plastic waste by allowing maximum stretch without breaking, and securely bundles items without leaving any sticky residue.
