The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: Abstract A detachable concrete cylinder mould system is disclosed which completely eliminates external threaded fasteners, bolts, or clamps through a novel geometric- interlocking assembly. The system comprises a circular base plate featuring an integrated concentric indexing recess, and two matching semi-cylindrical half-shell panels that co-operatively assemble to define a standard 150 mm diameter by 300 mm height concrete casting cavity. Each half-shell panel incorporates a precise male locking protrusion along one vertical margin and a corresponding female nesting groove along the opposite vertical margin. The interlocking joint geometry utilizes a precise 0.5 mm clearance tolerance that allows rapid, toolless manual slide-assembly and disassembly while leveraging capillary action to form a leak-resistant, self- sealing barrier against concrete slurry egress. The invention minimizes specimen preparation cycles, enhances structural durability within aggressive laboratory environments, and ensures high dimensional repeatability for structural concrete material testing.
