Abstract: “AI-Based Hybrid Brain–Computer Interface System for Personalized Neurorehabilitation and Real-Time Cognitive Assistance” ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an adaptive artificial intelligence driven hybrid Brain Computer Interface system intended for personalized neurorehabilitation, cognitive monitoring, and intelligent assistive communication applications. The invention integrates electroencephalography and functional near infrared spectroscopy based neural signal acquisition techniques with advanced artificial intelligence models including deep learning, transformer architectures, and reinforcement learning algorithms for accurate real time neural signal decoding and cognitive state prediction. The system is capable of identifying user specific neurological conditions including attention level, stress, fatigue, emotional state, and motor intention for dynamically controlling rehabilitation devices, robotic limbs, prosthetic systems, speech synthesis systems, and virtual rehabilitation environments. The invention further incorporates intelligent signal preprocessing, adaptive learning mechanisms, and secure neural data management for improving signal accuracy, reducing calibration time, and protecting sensitive neural information against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Experimental analysis demonstrates enhanced rehabilitation efficiency, improved response accuracy, reduced latency, and long term adaptability compared to conventional Brain Computer Interface systems. The proposed invention provides a scalable, secure, and intelligent healthcare framework suitable for neurological rehabilitation, assistive healthcare technologies, and advanced human machine interaction applications.
