MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641095668 A) filed by Ms Menkaa on August 07, 2026, for “an Integrated Sewage Treatment Using Seedless Soap-Nut For Wastewater Conditioning”.

Inventor includes Mr. Ganesh M.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT “AN INTEGRATED SEWAGE TREATMENT USING SEEDLESS SOAP-NUT FOR WASTEWATER CONDITIONING” in a sustainable sewage treatment system integrating with standardized dual forms of seedless soap-nut as a multi-functional wastewater conditioner. The Seedless soap-nut powder and tablets are introduced at multiple stages of a sewage treatment plant, including coagulation, biological aeration, and tertiary polishing. The system incorporates a controlled manual dosing mechanism responsive to flow rate and turbidity. The dual solid forms of seedless soap-nut acts as a natural coagulant, surfactant, and microbial activity enhancer, improving removal of suspended solids, organic pollutants, and oils while reducing dependence on synthetic chemicals. The invention further provides process optimization parameters, dosing ranges, and system integration design, resulting in improved treatment efficiency and reduced sludge toxicity. Refer
