Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyherbal anti-asthmatic formulation comprising essential oils of Eucalyptus globulus, Artemisia pallens, Ocimum sanctum, Lepidium sativum, and Lavandula angustifolia. The formulation is developed in the form of an ointment, inhalable oil, and inhaler stick for effective respiratory delivery. The essential oils are extracted using hydrodistillation and formulated in varying proportions to achieve optimal therapeutic activity. The compositions exhibit significant anti-inflammatory, bronchodilatory, and decongestant properties. Physicochemical evaluation confirms stability, non-irritancy, and suitable pharmaceutical characteristics. Biological screening using THP-1 cell line demonstrates high cell viability and low cytotoxicity, indicating safety and efficacy. The invention provides a natural, safe, and effective alternative for asthma management.
