Abstract: The present invention relates generally to anti-counterfeit authentication, secure packaging, electronic verification, and supply-chain traceability of high-value goods. More particularly, the invention relates to a smart authentication box comprising sensing, communication, secure storage, tamper detection and lock10 control elements, and to a coordinated verification system that associates a physical luxury watch with a unique digital record across manufacturer, distributor, retailer and customer stages. The invention further relates to a two-step physical-digital verification architecture in which a package-level identifier is verified before the box is opened and a watch-level near-field identifier is verified after authorised 15 access, thereby binding the watch, its packaging and its transaction history to an immutable or tamper-resistant ownership record.
