Abstract: Embodiments of present disclosure disclose method and system for generating an enhanced image. Method comprises capturing a first image of an object at a first focal length and determining an image quality score and a dynamic threshold score for the first image. Further, the method comprises capturing a second image of the object at a second focal length if the image quality score is less than the dynamic threshold score and segmenting a foreground portion and a background portion of the first image and second image. Further, the method comprises generating, by a first pretrained sub-system, an enhanced foreground portion from the foreground portion and generating, by a second pretrained sub-system, an enhanced background portion from the background portion. Lastly, the method comprises generating the enhanced image based on blending at least the enhanced foreground portion, the background portion and the first image. Fig. 4
