Abstract: “MidgardBox: Real-Time AI Accident Detection System” ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an Intellig-Seent nsMuor lti Vehicle Accident Detection and Emergency Response System designed to improve road safety through accurate accident detection, severity assessment, and rapid emergency communication. The system integrates a motion sensing unit, location and speed tracking module, thermal monitoring unit, vehicle data interface, camera module, audio detection unit, communication module, and a processing unit for real-time monitoring and analysis of vehicle conditions. The invention continuously collects and processes data related to impact force, vehicle orientation, speed variation, rollover conditions, temperature changes, and environmental factors. Based on a multi-parameter decision-making mechanism, the system is capable of distinguishing genuine accident events from non- critical conditions such as potholes, speed breakers, sudden braking, skidding, road vibrations, and accidental device movement, thereby significantly reducing false emergency alerts. The system further classifies accident severity and identifies critical conditions including rollover accidents, multi-vehicle collisions, stationary vehicle impacts, hit-and-run incidents, and post-crash fire hazards. Upon confirmation of an accident, emergency notifications containing location coordinates, severity information, and critical status data are automatically transmitted through communication technologies including LoRa, DSRC, cellular networks, or equivalent wireless communication systems. A user confirmation mechanism is provided for non-critical incidents to improve alert reliability. The invention provides a comprehensive, reliable, and intelligent vehicle safety solution that enhances accident detection accuracy, minimizes response delays, and improves emergency rescue effectiveness.
