Abstract: Abstract A multimodal Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) edge-agent platform for real-time edge-cloud orchestration comprises a dual-core embedded processing unit coupled to a perception subsystem, an interaction subsystem, and a secure cloud intelligence layer. The perception subsystem captures concurrent audio streams, visual frames, and localized touch inputs. The embedded processing unit runs a dedicated multitasking architecture that distributes continuous video surveillance streaming to a first processing core, while a second processing core compresses and bundles the captured sensory data into an encrypted multimodal payload. A cloud- based multimodal AI engine processes the payload within a single inference cycle to perform speech recognition, vision understanding, and contextual reasoning, returning structured function commands. An autonomous dispatch framework executes these commands locally, driving synchronized display animations and audio feedback while a non-blocking digital twin framework synchronizes system states, telemetry, and remote overrides with a cloud dashboard.
