Inventors include Ahsan Imam Khan; Navneet Kumar; Shiv Havgirao Sutar; and Poonam Chandrakant Bhosale.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: A real-time, multimodal artificial-intelligence-based mental health support system (100) is disclosed. The system acquires facial, vocal, textual and gesture-based inputs and fuses corresponding affective signals into a unified emotional state through a multimodal affective-inference layer (120). A persistent emotional10 memory subsystem (130) retains the user's affective history across sessions, upon which a longitudinal-trajectory and predictive-forecasting engine (140) computes an emotional trajectory and forecasts near-term emotional states so as to issue early stress and anxiety alerts. A rule-based personality engine (150) governs the tone, style and safety of responses generated by an adaptive response-generation layer 15 (160), ensuring consistent, human-like and controlled behaviour. A gesture-based accessibility subsystem (170) employs temporal-consensus stabilisation and emotion-aware sentence generation for deaf and non-verbal users, and a gamified hand-tracking subsystem (180) enhances engagement and relaxation, providing inclusive, adaptive and predictive emotional support.
