Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar photovoltaic (PV) module comprising Mono-PERC half-cut solar cells arranged in an optimized sectional configuration for improved electrical performance. The module includes a plurality of half-cut cells arranged in a 2×6×12 matrix forming 144 half-cells divided into four sections comprising cell groups 1–36, 37–72, 73–108 and 109–144. The cells are electrically interconnected using inter-cell tabbing and tin-coated copper bus bars, wherein 2 mm bus bars are used for string connections and 5 mm bus bars are used for main current conduction to reduce resistive losses. The module further includes separate IP67-rated positive and negative junction boxes with 4/6 sq. mm solar cables for power output. The module is enclosed in an anodised aluminium frame and comprises a front AR-coated tempered glass layer of 3.2 mm thickness and a rear Tedlar back sheet or glass layer. The invention provides enhanced efficiency, improved durability, reduced heating losses, and reliable power generation under varying environmental conditions.
