Abstract: ABSTRACT “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISCOVERY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NRF SERVICES” The present invention discloses a method, a network function (NF) consumer device (200) and a Network Repository Function (NRF) device (300) for discovery and implementation of NRF services. The method includes receiving by the NF consumer device (200) a NRF callback Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) from the NRF device (300) to update a NRF with a status of an NF producer at the NRF device (300) and storing by the NF consumer device (200) the NRF callback URI received from the NRF device (300). Further, the method includes detecting by the NF consumer device (200) a connection failure between the NF consumer device (200) and a NF producer at the NF consumer device (200) and sending by the NF consumer device (200) an indication of at least one of supported and required services to the NRF device (300) based on a status of the NF producer.
