MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021483 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 21, 2024, for 'a battery pack.'
Inventor(s) include Gavhane Santosh Bhagawat; Poreddy Kambi Reddy; and Manish Garg.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a battery pack (100). The battery pack (100) includes a sealed container (101) having an interior space (S). A plurality of 5 battery cells (120) are disposed inside a first portion (S1) of the interior space (S) and spaced apart from each other. The first portion(S1) being adapted to receive a cooling material (C) encapsulating each of the plurality of battery cells (120). The battery pack (100) includes a battery management system (150) for controlling operation of the plurality of battery 10 cells (120). One of components of the battery management system (150) is disposed in a second portion (S2) of the interior space (S) of the sealed container (101). The second portion (S2) being adapted to receive a filler material (F) being configured to prevent entry of the cooling material (C) inside the second portion (S2)."
