The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Cognitive Artificial Intelligence-Based System and Device for Real-Time Accident Prevention, Detection, and Monitoring in Vehicles ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a cognitive artificial intelligence-based accident prevention, detection, and monitoring device for vehicles. The device integrates multiple sensor modules configured to acquire real-time data related to vehicle dynamics, driver behavior, and surrounding environmental conditions. A cognitive AI processing unit analyzes the acquired data using machine learning and predictive algorithms to identify potential accident scenarios and unsafe driving conditions before occurrence. Upon detection of risk, the system generates timely alerts to the driver through visual, auditory, or haptic interfaces and may initiate automated corrective actions to reduce accident probability. The device further includes a communication module configured to transmit accident or risk-related information to external systems such as emergency response units or remote monitoring platforms. The invention enables enhanced road safety, reduced accident rates, and improved driver awareness, and is adaptable for integration across different vehicle types and transportation systems."
