MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441036429 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 8, 2024, for 'a cover assembly for a transmission system of a vehicle.'

The cover assembly (100) comprises at least on first cover portion (101) configured to cover at least a first region of the CVT system (150), and at least one second cover portion (102) coupled to the first cover portion (101). The second cover portion (102) is configured to cover at least a second region of the CVT system (150). The first cover portion (101) comprises one or more airflow guides (113). The cover assembly (100) further comprises an inner air guide member (103) configured with at least one of the first cover portion (101) and the second cover portion (102) and configured to guide air flow towards the second region of the CVT system (150) to improve air flow in the cover assembly (100)."
