MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431006418 A) filed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'a dc drive at a stretch reducing mill of seamless steel tube process integrated with a cooling system.'
Inventor(s) include Parimi Naga Venkata Sai Surya Teja; Selvaraj Rajeshkumar; Pichai Selvan; Balasubramaniyan Damodaran; Sadaiyappan Mathesh; Shah Zheghan Mohamed Feroz Khan; and Alexander Leo Lawrance.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a DC drive at a stretch reducing mill of seamless steel tube process integrated with a cooling system comprising a power distribution arrangement comprising AC bus bar (204) and DC bus bar (206), an air duct (406) positioned behind the bus bars (204,206) for providing air passage to air blown across the bus bars (204, 206), an exhaust fan system (400) extending from the air duct (406), said exhaust fan system (400) comprising a frame (404) formed orthogonal to the air duct (406) at an end of the air duct (406), a plurality of cooling fans (402) adjacently mounted within the frame (404) for drawing from the bars (204, 206) via the air duct (406)."
