The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a device and method for integrated suction with dental airotor handpieces, being formed as a slidable airotor-engaging sleeve which fits over a conventional airotor, and which includes a suction port for connection with a conventional dental suction tube, a suction inlet disposed at or near the burregion, and an internal suction channel to direct debris, liquid and aerosols generated in high-speed dental operations, for immediate removal. Of similar connection but smaller in diameter, the sleeve is arranged above the suction port and of approximately the same internal diameter of 18 mm to encourage the free passage of the suction tube, while the latter has an approximate internal diameter of 10 mm. The hands-free suction enhances visibility, reduces the dispersion of aerosols, and enhances the hygiene of the procedure, while promoting single-operator orange."
