MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441006645 A) filed by Bosch Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'a device and method for backflushing a filter.'
Inventor(s) include Nagendran Shanmugam; Halesha G P; Bhavana U S; and Xavier Maria Soosai.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device 200 for channeling pressurized water through a water filter is described. The device 200 comprises a water sump 210, and a water pump 220 in flow communication with the water sump 210. A pressure regulator 230 is in flow communication with the water pump 220, the pressure regulator 230 adapted to supply water under pressure from a downstream portion of the water filter 240 to an upstream portion of the water filter 240 through the water filter 240 to dislodge dirt particles out of the water filter 240."
