MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421015895 A) filed by Tata Motors Limited, Maharashtra, on March 6, 2024, for 'a door of a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Prashant Thakare; and Chaitanya Bhalchandra.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiment of the disclosure discloses, a door (100) of a vehicle. The door (100) includes a 5 body (1) and a window frame (2). The window frame (2) includes a first set of provisions (5a, 5b) and a second set of provisions (6a, 6b, 6c). Further, the door (100) includes a window having a first panel (3) is pivotally connected to the body (1). The first panel (3) is adapted to arcuately displace along the window frame (2) between a first position (FP) and a second position (SP). The first panel (3) in the first position (FP) is configured to lock with at least one 10 of the first set of provisions. The window assembly (200) includes a second panel (4) which is pivotally connected to the body (1). The second panel (4) is adapted to arcuately displace along the window frame between a third position (TP) and the second position (SP)."
