Inventor(s) include Pushkar Singh Bisht.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An easily cleanable water storage tank with an internal bottom configuration and a method for maintaining cleanliness of water stored therein are disclosed. The system comprises an upgraded water storage tank including a floor, at least one inlet, a supply outlet, an overflow outlet, a draining outlet provided with a valve for controlled drainage, and a pump. The water storage tank is characterized in that the internal floor of the tank is formed as a conical bottom sloping inwardly from all sides, facilitating the collection of sediments toward a lower sloping end. The supply outlet is positioned on a side wall of the tank above the conical bottom, thereby preventing withdrawal of settled impurities. The draining outlet is located on the side wall of the tank below the inclined floor at the sloping end, is connected through a passage formed along the inclined floor to an external valve for operating drainage. The drainage passage and valve arrangement enable complete removal of accumulated sediments and contaminants, and the drainage system may be extended externally as per user requirements."
