According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a floor drum mover designed for the manual handling and transportation of cylindrical drums in industrial environments. The device comprises a handle bar (100) ergonomically structured to provide comfortable grip and directional control, operatively connected to a base plate (102) that supports and stabilizes the drum during movement. The base plate (102) includes a textured or grooved surface to prevent slippage and maintain proper alignment of the drum. A plurality of wheels (101) are mounted beneath the base plate (102) to enable smooth and stable motion across industrial flooring, with at least one wheel lockable to ensure safety during loading and unloading. The interconnected assembly of the handle bar (100), base plate (102), and wheels (101) allows safe, low-effort drum movement, minimizing operator fatigue and risk of spillage. The invention enhances workplace safety, efficiency, and ergonomics in material handling operations."
