MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421022334 A) filed by Tata Motors Limited, Maharashtra, on March 22, 2024, for 'a floor structure of a load body for a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Santoshkumar Anakapalli; and Shreeram Narayanan.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiment of the disclosure discloses, a floor structure (100) of a load body (200). The 5 structure includes long members and at least one cross member (6). The structure includes at least one polymeric panel (4) disposed on the at least one cross member (6). Further, each the at least one polymeric panel (4) includes a body (14) and reinforcement members (9). The reinforcement members protrude out of edges of the body (14). The floor structure includes a tensioner mechanism (15) including a plate (10) coupled to the reinforcement members (9) and 10 a plurality of tensioners (8). The plurality of tensioners are structured to connect the at least one polymeric panel (4) with the at least one cross member (6) and selectively adjust tension of the at least one polymeric panel (4). The configuration of the floor structure facilitates adjustment of the polymeric panel to remove deformations formed on the floor structure."
