The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hair curler has a heating barrel with an adjustable size. The heater of the heating barrel is controlled in dependence on the selected size of the heating barrel, such that a heating temperature and/or a heating duration applied to hair wound around the heating barrel is inversely correlated with the size of the barrel. In this way, the type of heating matches the curl size selected by the user."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/057208.
