Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A Hybrid System For Hydrogen Compression And Method Thereof' Filed by Indian Institute Of Technology

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024335 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, on March 27, 2024, for 'a hybrid system for hydrogen compression and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Satya Sekhar Bhogilla; and Uday Raj Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method of hydrogen compression. Particularly, the hybrid system of the present invention combines the strength of mechanical compressors with metal hydride compressors."
