MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016788 A) filed by Valeo Vision, Bobigny, France, on March 8, 2024, for 'a light guide clip for a lighting device.'
Inventor(s) include Parthasarathy, Santhosh; Sill, Etienne; and Stalin, Santhosh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a light guide clip 100 for mounting a light guide 106 on a support member 102 such as housing, bezel etc. of a lighting device. The clip 100 comprises a base plate 104 provided at a predefined location and orientation on the support member 102, as per styling requirements. The base plate 104 has a clipping part 108 formed therein to receive and secure the light guide 106. The clipping part 108 has a guiding portion 112 and a receiving portion 114. Flexible clipping portions 120a, 120b are formed at the connections of the guiding portion 112 and the receiving portion 114 for inserting and securing the light guide 106 in a holding space 110b."
