MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518084396 A) filed by Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 5, for 'a light source module.'

Inventor(s) include Ban, Heejeong; Ko, Miso; and Choi, Eunmi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A light source module comprising a light emitting diode package, the light emitting diode package comprising: a substrate (100); a first upper electrode (210) and a second upper electrode (220); a light emitting structure (300); a wavelength conversion portion (400); a first lower electrode (510) and a second lower electrode (520); a heat dissipation pad (700); and an air path (AP) including a first airflow path (P1) formed between the heat dissipation pad (700) and the first lower electrode (510), a second airflow path (P2) formed between the heat dissipation pad (700) and the second lower electrode (520), and a third airflow path (P3) formed between the first lower electrode (510) and the second lower electrode (520), characterized in a width (D2) of each of the first airflow path (P1) and the second airflow path (P2) have a value in the range of 90% to 110% of a width (D1) of the third airflow path (P3)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018071.
