MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311087382 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'a liquid dispensing assembly in a refrigerator.'
Inventor(s) include Chaurasiya Rajesh Shyam; and Singh Ankur.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A liquid dispensing assembly (200) in a refrigerator is provided. The assembly (200) includes a first tank (102) and a second tank (104) to store liquid, a connector assembly (106) to dispense liquid from the first tank (102) and the second tank (104) into a container, the connector assembly (106) having a rotatable connector (202) toggling between a first position, a second position and a neutral position. In the first position of the connector (202), the liquid from the first tank (102) is dispensed into the container and in the second position of the container, the liquid from the second tank (104) is dispensed into the container and in the neutral position of the container, the flow of liquid is stopped from both the first tank (102) and the second tank (104)."
