MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017400 A) filed by Chakr Innovation Private Limited, New Delhi, on March 11, 2024, for 'a metal-air cell and a metal-air battery module.'
Inventor(s) include Akash Mitra; and Shubham Mittal.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present disclosure discloses a metal-air cell (100) that includes an anode holder (200) defined with a base (203) and a hollow body (205) extending from the base. The hollow body receives a plurality of anodes (202) which is manufactured of metal. A cathode holder (300) is defined as a block (300b) and is configured to support a plurality of cathodes (302). The cathode holder and the anode holder are concentrically arranged to each other for defining a flow channel (210). An electrolyte (212) is filled within the flow channel and is in a surface contact with the plurality of anodes, the plurality of cathodes, the base, and the block. An agitator (104) mounted on the base of the anode holder and immersed in the electrolyte (212), wherein the agitator is configured to cause movement of the electrolyte and uniformly spread the electrolyte over a surface of the plurality of anodes."
