MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611010309 A) filed by Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 31, for 'a method, a device, and a system for ai-enabled smart gene expression monitoring and therapy optimization.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Mohd Haider.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart gene expression monitoring system for real-time, personalized therapy optimization. The system integrates molecular biosensing with artificial intelligence and machine learning to continuously or periodically detect and analyze RNA biomarkers from biological samples. A biosensing module acquires molecular signals corresponding to target RNA sequences, which are pre-processed and transformed into gene expression features. An AI/ML engine performs temporal analysis to learn patient-specific gene expression baselines, classify expression patterns into therapy-relevant states, and predict therapeutic response or resistance. Based on the analysis, the system generates severity-based alerts, annotated molecular reports, and therapy-optimization insights, which are securely communicated to users or healthcare systems. The invention further supports cloud-based analytics and privacy-preserving federated learning for continuous model improvement without sharing raw molecular data."
