The method comprises transmitting an authorization code to an authorized user to enable the payment mode based on information retrieved from the encrypted code in response to the scanning, wherein the information comprises at least contact information of the authorized user. The method comprises receiving an input from a user utilizing the payment mode, wherein the input corresponds to the authorization code. The method comprises activating the payment mode based on the received input for a pre-defined time. The method comprises deactivating the payment mode after expiry of the pre-defined time."
