MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311081651 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 1, 2023, for 'a method of preparation for an oats millet and dates enriched sweet.'

Inventor(s) include Sweksha Chaturvedi; Deepansha; Chef Mr. Deepak Rao; and Abhimanyu.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (100) of preparation for an oats, millet and dates enriched sweet. The method (100) includes steps of roasting of one or more millets flour, and at least a half cup of peanuts and oats. Further, at least a half cup of makhna and almonds are roasted and blended together into fine powder. Further, at least 50 grams (gm) of dates are deseeded and boiled along with green raisins to obtain dates paste. The dates paste is cooled and grinded into a thin paste. Further, at least one tablespoon of ghee is added and heated into a pan. Further, the roasted one or more millets flour, peanuts, oats, the fine powder, the thin paste and at least one tablespoon of cardamom powder are added in pan to obtain a mixture. The mixture is stirred and cooled for 12 hours to obtain oats, millet and dates enriched sweet."
