MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341080404 A) filed by Ather Energy Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Nov. 27, 2023, for 'a modular assembly for connecting peripherals on a saddle-type vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a modular assembly (200) for connecting electrical peripherals of a saddle-type vehicle. The modular assembly (200) includes a pair of main tubes (202), a pair of first mounting brackets (204), and a second mounting bracket (206). The pair of first mounting brackets (204) are individually provided on each of the pair of main tubes (202). The pair of first mounting brackets (204) facilitate mounting of at least one electrical peripheral. The second mounting bracket (206) is mounted horizontally between the pair of main tubes (202). The second mounting bracket (206) includes a first mounting point (212a) and a second mounting point (212b) provided on either side of the second mounting bracket (206) for facilitating mounting of a plurality of electrical peripherals."
