MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421013392 A) filed by Panasonic Life Solutions India Private Limited, Thane, Maharashtra, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'a mounting bracket for mounting a light guide panel assembly in a lighting apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Shetty, Amith Sadashiva; Patil, Abhay Mansing; Jagtap, Aniket Dhananjay; and Maiti, Pradip Kr.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a mounting bracket (124) for mounting a light guide panel (LGP) assembly (114) of a lighting apparatus (100). The mounting bracket (124) includes a base (302) and a pair of mounting flanges (304). The base (302) is adapted to be attached to a housing (102) of the lighting apparatus (100). The pair of mounting flanges (304) extended orthogonally from opposite sides of the base (302), each of the pair of mounting flanges (304) includes a holding portion (306b). The holding portion (306b) caves inwardly towards a center of the mounting bracket (124) and is adapted to slidably mount at least a portion of the LGP assembly (114) on an inner surface of the mounting bracket (124)."
