MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421021145 A) filed by Panasonic Life Solutions India Private Limited, Thane, Maharashtra, on March 20, 2024, for 'a mounting plate for a switch assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a mounting plate (102) for a switch assembly (100). The mounting plate (102) may include a first surface (110), a second surface (112), and a cut-out portion (114). The first surface (110) may be adapted to support at least one operating module (104), at least one rocker (106), and a pair of cover strips (108). The second surface (112) may be opposite to the first surface (110) and adapted to be mounted on a mounting platform (300) to secure the switch assembly (100) with the mounting platform (300). The cut-out portion (114) extends between the first surface (110) and the second surface (112) and may be adapted to receive the at least one operating module (104) having the at least one rocker (106). The at least one rocker (106) may be adapted to cover the cut-out portion (114) and an area of the mounting plate (102)."
