MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421007909 A) filed by Higgsfleet Innovations Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Feb. 6, 2024, for 'a multi-blade food processing device.'
Inventor(s) include Nandan Ravindra Gite.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a food processing system (10) that may comprise a housing (100) with an inlet port (202) for receiving a food object to cut. The system may further comprise within the housing (100) a first multi-lobe rotor plate (102) positioned parallel to a second multi-lobe rotor plate (104), wherein a lobe of the first plate (102) has vertically protruding blades (103) for chopping said object. Additionally, a lobe of the first (102) or second plate (104) may have an angled depth blade (106a, 106b) for slicing the object layer-by-layer. Moreover, the system may have a powering unit (110) beneath the housing (100) that rotates the plates (102, 104) during operation. The strategic multi-lobe blade configurations and rotary setup may enable efficient food processing by slicing, shredding, or chopping the received object into smaller pieces or particles of desired size and shape."
