Inventor(s) include Dr. Manisha Kaushal; Vaibhav Gupta; and Vinesh Sharda.
The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a Multi-Sensor Smart Onesie System (100) for Infant Health Monitoring and Discomfort Detection. The present invention includes a onesie(102), an accelerometer sensor(104), a gyroscope sensor(106), a moisture and ammonia sensor(108), a microphone(110), a computing unit(112), a processor unit(114), a memory(116), a user device(118) and a speaker(120). The system(100) integrates fuse motion and cry signals that monitors real-time AI-based analysis. The accelerometer sensor(104) senses free fall detection of infant. The gyroscope sensor(106) detects abnormal or excessive movements of infant. The moisture and ammonia sensor(108) detects diaper wetness and spoilage level. The microphone(110) configures to detect crying patterns of infants. The computing unit (112) includes a processor unit(114) and a memory(116) to determine and stores the plurality of sensors data and control algorithms for the functioning of the onesie(102). The user device(118) receives alert updates. The speaker(120) enables discreet, safe and direct real-time communication without disturbing infant."
