According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A nanoparticle-hydrogel composite and its method of preparation. Disclosed herein is a nanoparticle-hydrogel composite for drug delivery in the treatment and management of psoriasis. The composite, according to the embodiments herein, includes lipid-polymer hybrid nanoparticles embedded in a hydrogel matrix, wherein each lipid-polymer hybrid nanoparticle comprises a polymeric core encapsulating at least one therapeutic agent, and a lipid shell surrounding the polymeric core. The nanoparticle-hydrogel composite is safe for prolonged use and offers enhanced drug penetration, sustained drug release, and reduced systemic toxicity, without causing adverse effects on healthy skin. Embodiments herein also provide a method of preparing the nanoparticle-hydrogel composite."
