According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Navigation System for a Vehicle and a Method Thereof The present invention relates to a navigation system (100) and a method of navigation for a vehicle. The navigation system (100) comprises a communication interface (102) and a control unit (104). The communication 5 interface is configured to receive information in relation to a travel destination of the vehicle from a user and communicate the information to the control unit (104). The control unit (104) is configured to predict required energy consumption by the vehicle to reach the travel destination, compare the predicted energy consumption by the vehicle with a quantity of available 10 energy of one or more energy sources in the vehicle, and selectively activate one of a plurality of navigation modes based on the comparison. The navigation system (100) and the method provide automatic searching for nearby energy replenishment locations and subsequent rerouting to the travel destination, ensuring timely navigation and minimizing risk of running 15 out of energy."
