MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521080937 A) filed by Pawan Shrimal, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Aug. 26, 2025, for 'a non-aqueous suspension of spironolactone which is ready to use topically and systemically.'

Inventor(s) include Vinay Shankar Tripathi; Shwetank Shrimal; and Akshay Nikhil Patel.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are non-aqueous suspension of pharmaceutical drug products with Spironolactone as the active pharmaceutical ingredient with acceptable onset of action, duration of action and AUC. Also, this formulation will have superior patient compliance, metabolism and elimination."
