MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321087047 A) filed by Ramesh Patodia, Maharashtra, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'a nutraceutical formulation to treat hormonal imbalances and menstrual disorders.'

Disclosure of a nutritional formulation for treating a hormonal imbalance affecting a menstrual cycle disorder, wherein the nutritional formulation includes a phytonutrient and a micronutrient and further including an antioxidant and another ingredient, wherein the phytonutrient comprises Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) or extract of root of ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), and Ashoka (Saraca asoca) or extract of bark of Ashoka (Saraca asoca). Disclosure of a nutritional formulation for treating a hormonal imbalance affecting a menstrual cycle disorder, wherein the menstrual cycle disorder is perimenopause or early menopause."
