MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527034387 A) filed by Cipla Limited, Maharashtra, on April 8, for 'a pharmaceutical composition of salbutamol and pharmaceutical green propellant.'

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for inhalation comprising salbutamol or enantiomer or salt or ester thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable green propellant. Particularly disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for inhalation comprising salbutamol or enantiomer or salt or ester thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable green propellant HFA 152a and/or HFO 1234ze(E). Also disclosed processes of preparing such compositions."
