MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431016767 A) filed by Institute Of Advanced Study In Science And Technology, Guwahati, Assam, on March 8, 2024, for 'a polyherbal formulation for the prevention of toxic chemicals-induced neurodegenerative diseases.'
Inventor(s) include Mukherjee, Ashis K; Patra, Aparup; Rajbongshi, Bhagya Lakhmi; and Khan, Mojibur R.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a polyherbal formulation comprising aqueous extracts of the leaf of Moringa oleifera (MO) and Marsilea minuta (MM) wherein the ingredients are present in synergistically effective ratio ranging from 1:1 to 2:1 (MO: MM). The present invention also provides a methodology for preparing the formulation."
